Beginning May 2023, each point earned prior to May 2022 and unused will expire exactly 365 days after earning on a first-in/first-out basis, regardless of status tier. Moving forward, unused points will expire exactly one year after earning.

Since every stop is a new opportunity to both earn and redeem points (and we’re constantly releasing offers built to boost your earning) you’ll continue to enjoy your benefits and watch as your points grow!

Beginning February 2022, every tier level is subject to expiration if you haven't earned enough points in the previous 12 months to maintain it. After 1 year if you haven’t earned enough points to maintain your tier level, you will be downgraded to the tier you earned. But don't worry, we'll have lots of great offers to fast-track your points and you'll continue to enjoy your beverage benefits throughout the year!

Plus, with each new tier you reach, your 1-year countdown resets the day you unlock it. Points redeemed in the catalog don’t count against tier earning, so don’t hesitate to use them! For example, if you're a Prince of Pastry with 600 points and you redeem 250 of those points for a stand-up pouch of candy, you’ll only have 350 points left to redeem in-store, but you still have 600 points toward reaching the ultimate King of Coffee status (2000 points)!

Tap on the Gift Card button at the bottom of the home screen. Follow instructions on that screen to load up your gift cards!

RaceTrac is committed to your security, so personal information, including name, credit card number, and billing address, are encrypted and will not be stored by RaceTrac.

Tap the Gift Card button at the bottom of the home screen, or tap Pay from the Checkout screen to see your available gift cards. Tap any gift card to see the gift card’s bar code and current balance.

SCAN the Rewards Card barcode in your app when you check out inside the store. Make sure you present your Rewards Card before payment. Scanning this bar code will earn you points and apply all your eligible discounts from coupons and redeemed rewards.

Or you can ENTER your phone number at the pump or at the register inside the store. At the pump, using your phone number as an alternate ID is the only way to earn points on a fuel purchase. You can also enter your phone number as an alternate ID inside the store.

You earn 1 point per gallon of gas and 4 points per $1 spent on qualifying products in-store.

Tap the Pay button from the Checkout screen to pull up your available gift cards. Tap a gift card to flip it over and reveal the bar code, then scan the gift card’s bar code to pay. Just remember to scan your Rewards Card bar code first to earn your points!

All coupons are already added to your Rewards Card. Just grab the items you want, scan your Rewards Card barcode or enter your phone number when you check out, and watch the savings roll in!

As you earn more points, you climb in levels and unlock greater rewards. Any points you redeem for free items do not affect your progress toward the next level. All RaceTrac Loyalty members will see the Fuel Reward in their RaceTrac App rewards catalog. Click “Redeem Points” from the homepage of the app, navigate to the Fuel Reward and click “Redeem”. Click “Redeem" again once you are sure that you want to redeem the reward, and you will see that the Fuel Reward will be marked as an unclaimed reward until you are ready to use it at check out.

Rewards are available for 24 hours after redeeming in the app to use in-store. If not, the Reward and points will return to your account to use when you’re ready.

Visit racetrac.com and go to your profile by clicking “Sign In” at the top, right corner of the homepage. Click the "Redeem Points" button just beneath your total available rewards points. Navigate to the Fuel Reward and click “Redeem”. Click “Redeem" again once you are sure that you want to redeem the reward. Your 10¢ fuel discount will be added to your account as an unclaimed reward and is ready to be used on your next visit. Rewards are available for 24 hours after redeeming in the app to use in-store. If not, the Reward and points will return to your account to use when you’re ready.

When you’re ready to claim your Fuel Reward, enter your phone number at the pump, insert your method of payment, then enter your phone number at the pump, and get ready to save! The discount will be automatically applied. Before you attempt to claim it at the pump, make sure you have redeemed the Fuel Reward in your RaceTrac app or online.

The Fuel Rewards discount is limited to one discount per transaction.

No. RaceTrac Rewards Fuel discounts (RaceTrac Rewards VIP, Fuel Reward, and RaceTrac Rewards + Debit) are not eligible at the extended diesel canopy at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can still earn loyalty points on all of your fuel transactions at the extended diesel canopy by entering your phone number at the pump, in-store pin pad, or by scanning your app at the register in-store.

If the Fuel Reward is appearing within your RaceTrac app, but you are not receiving your discount at the pump, please check your app settings to ensure that the phone number you are using matches the phone number associated with your loyalty account in your app settings. As a reminder, the rollback at the pump happens AFTER payment.

Here are a few ways to troubleshoot:

1. Make sure your RaceTrac app is updated to the latest version and that your device has a strong internet connection while attempting to redeem the reward.
2. Make sure you have enough points (175) to redeem the reward.
3. Check your “Unclaimed Rewards” to ensure that the Fuel Reward has been added to your account. If the fuel reward has not been added to your account, follow the redemption steps.

Make sure you entered a phone number under your Account Settings. This links your phone number to your RaceTrac Rewards account.

You can use any points you’ve earned to redeem FREE items at RaceTrac stores for one year after the points are earned. To see what you can redeem, tap the “REDEEM POINTS” button on your home screen. From there, you can choose from eligible items.

After you’ve selected the items you want to redeem, they’ll get added to your Rewards Card. When you scan the item and your Rewards Card at checkout, the discount automatically comes off! Changed your mind about a reward you already redeemed? No problem! Tap the “Checkout” button from your home screen, and then tap the “X” next to an item to remove it. The points will be added back to your balance. Any unused points expire on a rolling, first-in/first-out basis 365 days after each point is earned.

Inside the store, you earn 4 points per $1 spent on all products except for alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and services (like money orders or gift cards). All fuel grades earn you 1 point per gallon.
