RaceTrac Announces New Leadership Structure

RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. (RPI) is expanding its leadership team to support the company’s continued growth.

RaceTrac Chief Financial Officer and Chief Supply Officer Max McBrayer has been promoted to CEO. Natalie Morhous, formerly Vice President of Energy Dispatch, has been promoted to President of RaceTrac and former Executive Director of Marketing Melanie Isbill has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. AJ Siccardi has been promoted from Vice President to President of Metroplex Energy. To round out RaceTrac’s senior leadership team, Billy Milam will serve as COO and Joseph Akers will retain his title as Chief Legal Officer. Carl Bolch Jr. will maintain his role as Executive Chairman.

“RPI has grown tremendously over the past decade,” said Max McBrayer, RPI CEO. “In fact, in 2018 alone, we announced our expansion into Tennessee, opened our 500th store and were awarded Top Workplace titles in all four states in which we operate. I am looking forward to working with our expanded leadership team to continue this momentum in 2019 and beyond.”

This transition has particular significance as Carl’s daughters, Natalie Morhous and Melanie Isbill, who are also members of RaceTrac’s board, take on roles that will ensure continued connectivity between family legacy and business priorities. As President of RaceTrac, Morhous brings an extensive background in strategy, innovation and logistics to apply to the RaceTrac and RaceWay brands. As CMO, Isbill will focus on maximizing the in-store profitability of RaceTrac stores by leading the Marketing, Merchandising and Architecture & Design areas of the business.

“RaceTrac’s new leadership team brings a wealth of knowledge and diverse company experiences to the forefront of the organization,” said Morhous, “From fuel supply and logistics to marketing to real estate, this group is well-equipped to make the decisions that will support RaceTrac’s continued growth and innovation in the marketplace.”

In addition to the changes listed above, former Vice President of Store Experience Robby Posener will transition to Vice President of RaceWay. Former Vice President of RaceWay J. Gilmore will transition to Vice President of Energy Dispatch and Supply Chain. Finally, former Executive Director of Merchandising Bart Stransky has been promoted to Vice President of Merchandising.
