As a vital resource for RaceTrac's corporate office, administrators require rock-solid organizational, planning and time-management skills in order to prioritize with a keen sense of urgency.

Architecture, Design & Store Planning

This team works to design stores that are welcoming, bright and operationally efficient to serve our on-the-go guests. They bring the RaceTrac brand to life and help create stores that will last for decades to come.


This team brings our stores to life. They travel across the states in which we operate - Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas - to oversee construction of each store from laying the foundation to the grand opening.

Energy & Sustainability

This fast-growing and innovative department manages the projects and programs that reduce our energy spending, usage of water, natural gas, electricity and solid waste.

Energy Dispatch

To be a part of the team that gets the company’s fuel where it needs to go, you will need a can-do attitude and a positive outlook. From recruiters to transportation dispatchers, we need responsive, flexible team members to fuel our stores.


From reviewing site plans to procuring building permits, this team works hard to get each RaceTrac and RaceWay ready to build. These team members work proactively to take each of our new stores from site to construction. They’re the quarterback of the civil engineering process – managing design teams, permitting and negotiating – to ensure that the quality, schedule and budget of each new store is met at every step.


We take environmental regulations seriously. This team works hard to ensure that our business operates safely, making minimal impact on the environment.


This group is made up of a wide range of teams all working together to protect the long-term financial health and stability of the company. These self-starting, responsible individuals help manage the day-to-day operations of one of the South’s most successful private companies.

Financial Planning & Analysis

This team leads company-wide efforts on corporate analysis and financial planning. They collaborate cross-functionally to promote consistent data, provide information needed to make strategic decisions and evaluate the company’s progress towards achieving our goals.

Human Resources

This team supports our corporate office along with the team members in our stores and regional offices. Human Resources includes Learning and Talent Management, Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition. Our Total Rewards team focuses on payroll, benefits, compensation and wellness. These self-starters are prepared to adapt and respond to needs throughout the organization.

Information Systems

For RaceTrac to run efficiently, our team members need to stay connected. The Information Systems team makes sure the proper technology is in place to support the Store Support Center and each individual store. We look for efficient problem-solvers with coding and development experience to guide the company and adapt to an ever-changing business environment. This is an integral department where curiosity thrives.

Legal & Risk Management

Our Legal and Risk Management teams protect our people and promote our business. Made up of enthusiastic legal experts including attorneys, paralegals, clerks and administrative assistants, this team works on every transaction involving RaceTrac, like negotiations for vendor agreements, store leases and licenses, and handle all workers’ compensation and general liability claims.


The Marketing team spreads the word about great promotions and new offers. They are the hub all company communications. This group works collaboratively to make sure our guests know that RaceTrac has “Whatever Gets You Going.”


The Merchandising team selects and implements the products for which our we are known and loved. They ensure RaceTrac always has the most affordable, quality goods that keep our guests coming back to RaceTrac for everything from pizza and snacks to fresh food and refreshing beverages!

Metroplex Energy

Metroplex is the wholesale fuel distributor within RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. Metroplex provides a high-quality fuel supply with timely delivery at competitive prices. Metroplex moves over 3 billion gallons of fuel annually and has a top-notch team in order to make it happen. This exceptional department offers extensive experience in trading, supply and scheduling.


This team works day in and day out to ensure our stores and associates deliver on our Whatever Gets You Going style of convenience. There are two teams that make up the operations department, the Operations Support team and the Operations Analysis & Reporting team. The Operations Support team hunts down the best ways to get things done. The Operations Analysis and Reporting team track how individual stores are performing and what can be improved. They simplify processes and procedures in our stores to keep things running smoothly and profit margins growing!


This department consults with each of our business units to secure the goods and services the company needs. They source suppliers, negotiate pricing, maintain critical vendor relationships and make strategic purchasing recommendations that add significant value to the company.


RaceWay is our brand of retail fuel and convenience stores located across 12 states, and this team is responsible its operations. From recruiting and developing franchisees to managing operator relationships and store setup, this team does it all for our more 250 RaceWay locations.

Real Estate

This team ensures that our locations are on the way to wherever you're going. They have an intimate knowledge of local markets and a knack for finding convenience locations where new stores will thrive. This team collaborates with internal partners, as well as landowners, real estate brokers, real estate developers, municipal officials and state officials to acquire new sites for our stores.

Special Projects

This department plans, implements and supports a wide variety of company initiatives. They work side-by-side with almost every department in support of a variety of exciting projects. Special Projects works in a collaborative environment and has the unique opportunity to touch the entire business.

Store Support

Store Support is on the front lines of the business, working to support the stores and guests by solving equipment issues and helping RaceTrac continue to provide the excellent guest service we strive to deliver. From our In-House Maintenance team to Guest Engagement, this is a job for take-charge, motivated troubleshooters with positive attitudes.

Supply & Distribution

Ever wonder how our gas prices are determined and what goes into making those decisions? This team works 365 days a year reviewing marketplace factors, from competitor behavior and cost trends to weather and traffic, to ensure RaceTrac and RaceWay stores are offering competitively-priced fuel.

Supply Chain

Every night, each RaceTrac store is restocked with a delicious variety of fresh offers that our guests love. This is no small feat, but the hard-working Supply Chain team members who operate our regional distribution centers make it possible. Bringing items to market quickly is a big part of our success, and we count on these adaptable and guest-focused team members to be there for our stores every day.


This team keeps our complex day-to-day operations in financial order, but it is more than just paying taxes. It is working to establish rate changes, managing audits and staying on top of the continual adjustments to local, state and federal taxes. These conscientious, detail-oriented team members work closely with each department to ensure that all teams are aware of the tax associated with their daily functions.
