Does RaceTrac have an ATM?

Yes, all RaceTrac locations have an ATM.

Does RaceTrac have free ATMs?

Balance inquiries via ATM are free at all RaceTrac locations. In our Louisiana and Texas regions, ATM usage is free for all users whose debit cards can be processed via the Allpoint network. In our Florida and Georgia regions, ATM usage is free for all Fifth Third Bank debit cardholders. Otherwise, there is a surcharge on cash withdrawals only. The surcharge amount will vary by store region.

The ATM took my card and I’m unable to retrieve it. How do I get it back?

When a transaction times out on an ATM, the ATM will hold the card as a safety precaution to avoid potential fraud. To retrieve your card, you will need to contact your financial institution.

The in-store ATM did not dispense my money, what can I do?

Please contact your financial institution.

How can I get a receipt for the withdraw/deposit I completed at an ATM?

You will need to contact your bank/financial institution.

What is Bonfire?

Bonfire is the RaceTrac Procurement Department’s e-sourcing, contract management, and vendor management portal. https://racetrac.bonfirehub.com/login

What documents are required for registration?

Your company is required to upload valid copies of your W-9 Form, Sample Invoice, and Sample Certificate of Insurance. Optional uploads include Product Catalog(s), Product Specification(s), Diversity Certificate(s), and any other supporting documents.

What happens after I register?

RaceTrac’s Procurement team will review your company’s profile to see if there are any opportunities for your company to participate in current or future RFPs/RFQs. A team member will reach out if your company’s business scope aligns with a project.

Does my company’s registration guarantee work?

While completing this process does not guarantee future opportunities with RaceTrac, it is a required step to be considered in future projects. In addition, having your company’s information in the Procurement database will provide more opportunities to be identified in future RFPs/RFQs.

Can suppliers send samples?

Only if a supplier is involved in a bid, or otherwise specifically contacted for samples. Suppliers participating in bids will receive the specification(s), location(s), and date(s) for when samples should arrive.

Where can I see a list of Requests for Proposals (RFP)to bid on?

Currently, RaceTrac does not post public RFPs. Keep checking back for updates.

What does Vendor Type mean?

Select the services and/or products offered by your company. This will help the Procurement team select the right suppliers to participate in upcoming bids.

If my company does not currently work with RaceTrac, what Certification of Insurance (CoI) should be uploaded?

You can request a sample certificate of liability insurance or proof of insurance to show you have business insurance. For a supplier currently doing business with RaceTrac, you are REQUIRED to upload your most recent CoI.

What diversity classes is RaceTrac interested in?

If one or more of the diversity classifications are selected, you will be required to upload your certification(s). If your company does not qualify for a Diversity classification, please select N/A.

Does RaceTrac have cash back?

No, none of our RaceTrac locations offer cash back.

Which credit cards does RaceTrac accept?

All RaceTrac locations accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, WEX, Voyager, Debit and EBT (EBT not accepted at RaceWay locations). At our RaceTrac Travel Centers and Extended Diesel Offer locations, we accept Comdata, EFS, FleetOne, TCH and T-Check in addition to the options listed above.

Why does RaceTrac place a hold on guest’s accounts?

When using a credit, debit or gift card at the pump, your financial institution may place a monetary hold on your account. This hold is usually released when the completed transaction is received by the bank, but the release of the hold may take several days, depending on your bank’s policy. Please check with your financial institution for more information.

It is dependent upon your financial institution, but it can be up to $99.

If I prepay inside the RaceTrac location will there be a hold on my account?

If you do not use the entire amount that you prepaid, please allow your financial institution a couple days to release the remaining funds.

RaceTrac Debit Card

What is the RaceTrac Debit Card?

RaceTrac Debit is a secure and simple way to pay at RaceTrac. By linking your checking account to your RaceTrac Debit Card, you’ll have the benefit of paying for your purchase without annual fees or finance charges. Plus, you’ll instantly save on fuel purchases. The RaceTrac Debit Card can only be used at RaceTrac locations.

How do I start a RaceTrac Debit Card account?

Pick up a RaceTrac Debit Card inside any RaceTrac store and follow the instructions on the package or click here to sign up.

How do I use a RaceTrac Debit Account?

Using the RaceTrac Debit Card is easy. Use it the same way you would use any other debit card at the pump. You may also use the RaceTrac Debit Card to pay for purchases in the store.

How do I receive my fuel discount?

Your 7¢ per gallon discount is instantly applied at the pump. Swipe your card, enter your Secure ID and watch the price roll back instantly. Discounts apply to fuel purchases only and will not be applied to in-store merchandise.

How long does it take for the RaceTrac Debit Card account to activate?

Enrollment can occur instantly but also take up to three (3) business days after the enrollment date. If additional information is needed, you will be notified of the activation step and program details through subsequent email messages.

Can I share my account with someone or add another card to my account?

Yes. Simply pick up another card in-store at any RaceTrac location and call Customer Service (800-683-6360) to activate it.

How can I be certain that my information is secure?

The security of your data is very important. The RaceTrac Debit Card is more secure than a credit card or writing a check. You will set up a 4 digit Secure ID (PIN) so that the card can’t be used if lost or stolen. Your enrollment data is kept safe in secured database servers. If you have enrolled in the RaceTrac Debit Card program, the data you have provided is required to verify and link your information to your RaceTrac Debit Card in order to perform transactions. All bank information and Secure IDs are encrypted as soon as your enrollment is submitted.

Why is driver’s license information required to enroll in the payment program?

We want to provide you with a convenient way of paying for gas at a lesser price and also to pay for items inside RaceTrac stores. This is no different than writing a check at the supermarket and being asked to show your driver's license as an ID. The driver's license will be used only to verify your identity as a participant in the program.

Why is the last four digits of my social security number required with enrollment?

When you enroll in the RaceTrac Debit Card program, the last four digits of the social security number are used for identity verification purposes (in addition to the other information you provide during enrollment). The security of your data is very important. Your enrollment data is kept safe in secured database servers. This information is encrypted as soon as your enrollment is submitted.

Why is my email address required to enroll?

You will receive an email receipt for each purchase you make using your RaceTrac Debit Card. Your email address also becomes your login username to the member website where you can manage your payment account information, view your transaction activity and/or change your Secure ID if needed.

I signed up and saw a small deposit and withdrawal in my bank account. What is this?

Your enrolled bank account information must be validated to ensure the correct account number, the account is open, and most importantly that the account belongs to you. This can be done by submitting a small deposit and withdrawal to your bank account. These “challenge” transactions are a test to confirm the validity of the account. The enrolled payment card account is not activated until this bank verification process is completed. You must confirm these penny transactions once they appear in your account. A “verification” email will be sent to you upon enrollment, which explains this activation process.

Is my RaceTrac Debit Card Secure ID (4 digit PIN) the same as my current debit card PIN?

No. The Secure ID that you select can be any 4-digit number you choose and does not have to be the same as your general debit card PIN. It is important to remember your Secure ID in order to use this method of payment.

How do I change my Secure ID (4 digit PIN)?

You may change your Secure ID by logging into the member website or the member link provided on the RaceTrac website . Once you log in, you will need to click on your card/mobile number, then select the “Update My PIN” option. If you forgot your current Secure ID, then click on “Forgot PIN?” and follow the directions to reset or change your Secure ID

What should I do if the magnetic stripe stops working?

It will be necessary to replace your RaceTrac Debit Card if the magnetic stripe does not work. You will need to pick up a new card at any RaceTrac location and call Customer Service (800-683-6360) to add the new card and turn off the damaged card.

What should I do if I lost my card?

You should login to the member website to report your lost/stolen card. This will immediately deactivate the card. You may pick up a new card at any RaceTrac location and call Customer Service (800-683-6360) to have the replacement card added to your account.

Are there any fees to enroll or to use the RaceTrac Debit Card?

RaceTrac does not charge any fees to enroll in the program or use the card.

How can I view my transaction history and update my account details/preferences?

Are there any limits on my payment account?

Yes, the usage limits on your account are as follows: $100 daily single limit transaction, $150 daily limit, 5 transactions per day, $500 weekly limit, 15 transactions per week

RaceTrac Rewards

How do I earn points?

At the pump, enter your phone number when prompted on screen. Inside the store or at self-checkout, you can scan the Rewards Card barcode in your app OR enter your phone number on the pin pad. This will ensure you earn points on qualifying purchases and all of your eligible discounts from coupons and redeemed rewards apply.

Earn 1 point per gallon of gas purchased and 4 points per $1 spent inside on qualifying purchases. And as always, points redeemed toward rewards never negatively impact your status. Earned points will always count toward your yearly tier status, even if you later redeem those points for a reward.

Just a reminder: your existing points will remain valid according to our current points expiration policy, where points expire one year after earning.​

What is a qualifying product?

Inside the store, you earn 4 points per $1 spent on all products except for alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and services (like money orders or gift cards). All fuel grades earn you 1 point per gallon.

What can I do with my points?

You can use any points you’ve earned to redeem FREE items at RaceTrac stores. To see what you can redeem, tap the “REDEEM POINTS” button on the Rewards page. From there, you can choose from eligible items.

After you’ve selected the items you want to redeem, they’ll get added to your Rewards Card. When you scan the item and your Rewards Card at checkout, the discount automatically comes off! Changed your mind about a reward you already redeemed? No problem! Tap the “Checkout” button from your home screen, and then tap the “X” next to an item to remove it. The points will be added back to your balance.

Do my points expire?

Unused points will expire exactly one year after earning on a first-in/first-out basis.

Since every stop is a new opportunity to both earn and redeem points (and we’re constantly releasing offers built to boost your earning) you’ll continue to enjoy your benefits and watch as your points grow!

What are the tier levels?

As you earn more points, you climb in levels and unlock greater rewards. RaceTrac Rewards members need to requalify for Rewards status each year. That means you’ll need to reach the annual point minimum for your current Reward tier each calendar year (January 1 to December 31) to keep your status through the following year.

Tier 1: 0-149 points
Tier 2: 150-699 points
Tier 3: 700-1399 points 
Tier 4: 1400-3999 points 
Tier 5: 4000 points 

Any points you redeem for free items do not affect your progress toward the next level.

How do I track my status?

Monitoring your status is easy with our new status tracker in the RaceTrac app. Check your points in real-time and stay on top of your status goals all year long. Psst: you can find it under the “Rewards” tab in the “Status” section!

Does my tier level expire?

Beginning in 2025, registered RaceTrac Rewards members need to requalify for Rewards status each year. That means you’ll need to reach the annual point minimum for your current Reward tier each calendar year (January 1 to December 31) to keep your status through the following year. But don’t worry: we’ve made it easier than you think, with updated point thresholds for each rewards tier. Learn more at www.racetrac.com/tier-changes

What do I need to do to maintain my tier status?​

To keep your status in 2026 and beyond, you’ll need to earn the minimum number of points for your tier during the calendar year (January 1 to December 31). Once that minimum is reached, you’ve done it! You just earned your status for the remainder of the calendar year, as well as the following full calendar year. From there, it’s rinse and repeat; simply requalify again each year to keep your status going.

What does yearly requalification mean?​

Simply put, you’ll need to earn a point minimum to keep status each year. Once that minimum threshold is reached, you’ve earned your status for the remainder of the calendar year in which you qualify, as well as the following full calendar year.

For example, if you qualify for Tier 5 in September of 2025, you’ll enjoy Tier 5 benefits though December 31, 2026. Your status for 2027 will depend on your earnings in calendar year 2026.​

What happens if I don't requalify for my current tier?​

If you don't reach the point minimum for your current tier this year, your next year’s status will move to the tier that corresponds with your earning activity. You’ll still have access to plenty of great benefits and offers, no matter your rewards status. You can always move back up in the ranks by earning enough points to qualify for a higher status in the future.

How do I redeem coupons?

All coupons are already added to your Rewards Card. Just grab the items you want, scan your Rewards Card barcode when you check out, and watch the savings roll in!

How do I add gift cards to the app?

Tap on the Gift Card button at the bottom of the home screen. Follow instructions on that screen to load up your gift cards!

RaceTrac is committed to your security, so personal information, including name, credit card number, and billing address, are encrypted and will not be stored by RaceTrac.

How do I pay with an app gift card?

Tap the Pay button from the Checkout screen to pull up your available gift cards. Tap a gift card to flip it over and reveal the bar code, then scan the gift card’s bar code to pay. Just remember to scan your Rewards Card bar code first to earn your points!

How do I check the balance on my gift card?

Tap the Gift Card button at the bottom of the home screen, or tap Pay from the Checkout screen to see your available gift cards. Tap any gift card to see the gift card’s bar code and current balance.

My phone number is not working at the pump.

Make sure you entered a phone number under your Account Settings. This links your phone number to your RaceTrac Rewards account.

How do I deactivate my account?

Please contact us to deactivate your account. Once your account is deactivated, you will no longer have access to your points, rewards, or benefits and they cannot be reinstated.

VIP Subscription

What is RaceTrac Rewards VIP?

RaceTrac Rewards VIP is a premium add-on to your existing RaceTrac Rewards membership that allows you to save on every gallon you purchase from RaceTrac! For a monthly payment of $2.49, Rewards VIP members will get the following savings: 10 cents off per gallon on your first 40 gallons every month and 3 cents off per gallon after your first 40 gallons. Please note that your month begins upon the start date of your sign-up.

How do I sign up?

If you are already a RaceTrac Rewards member, head over to racetrac.com/rewards or the RaceTrac app, log into your Rewards account, and follow instructions to purchase a VIP subscription.

Not a Rewards Member? This is the perfect opportunity to become one! Download the RaceTrac app or visit racetrac.com/rewards to sign up for a Rewards membership. Once you have created an account, you will be eligible to purchase a VIP subscription.

How can I purchase a subscription?

RaceTrac accepts Visa, American Express, MasterCard, or Discover for subscription purchases through racetrac.com/rewards and the RaceTrac app. We do not accept RaceTrac gift cards to purchase the subscription at this time.

Can I still earn points on my discounted purchases?

Of course! This program is an add-on that allows you to save while you earn! Fuel purchases will generate one point per gallon for your RaceTrac Rewards program.

Can I use my Rewards VIP account inside the store?

Yes, you can use your subscription while pre-paying inside the store and at the pump. At the pump, make sure to enter your RaceTrac Rewards phone number prior to fueling. If you pre-pay inside, scan your app or enter your phone number on the keypad prior to checking out to get your discount.

Can I use my Rewards VIP account at the extended diesel canopy and get my discount?

RaceTrac Rewards VIP fuel discounts are not eligible at the extended diesel canopy at this time. However, you can still earn loyalty points on all of your fuel purchases at the extended diesel canopy by entering your phone number at the pump, in-store pin pad, or by scanning your app at the register in-store.

How do I know that I received my fuel discount?

When you arrive at a RaceTrac, make sure to look at the current fuel prices. After you enter your phone number and form of payment, the prices above each fuel grade will roll back! You can also verify your savings by checking the receipt for your transaction. Please note that if you pre-pay inside, you will not see your rollback on the receipt, but if you have opted in to receive e-receipts, you can always check your e-receipt or savings at the top of the RaceTrac Rewards VIP website page after fueling.

The pump doesn’t appear to recognize my phone number, please help!

If you receive this message at the pump, cancel the transaction and restart. Then re-enter your phone number. If it is still not working, log into your app, tap the settings button in the top right-hand corner of the page, scroll to “Edit Profile” and scroll to “Phone number.” Make sure the number you are entering at the pump matches this one. If it does not, change your phone number in the app to the preferred phone number.

What if I did not receive my expected rollback?

Please contact guest@racetrac.com and submit your receipt and Rewards ID for the team to assist you further. You can find your Rewards ID by checking your app or Rewards profile online at racetrac.com/rewards.

Can I manage my account on a website?

You can use the RaceTrac app or the racetrac.com/rewards site to access your account management page, where you can edit your payment information and subscription setup. You can also manage your contact information, birthday, and more in your RaceTrac Rewards profile.

Do you offer auto-renewals, or do I have to sign up again after the subscription has expired?

Upon purchase of the subscription, all accounts will automatically renew for the next subscription period and the saved payment method will be charged again. If you should choose to end your subscription, you can do so in your profile and your subscription will end after the current billing period.

Can multiple people share one subscription? How does it work?

Yes, multiple people can share a subscription, however, the phone number associated with the account when it was purchased must be used. Two phone numbers cannot be tied to one subscription. In addition, it is important to keep the gallon threshold in mind. RaceTrac Rewards VIP will get you 10 cents off per gallon on 40 gallons every month, and 3 cents off per gallon for fuel purchased after those 40 gallons. If two people are using the subscription, you will likely reach your 40 gallons more quickly.

How do I change the phone number associated with my Rewards account?

You may change your phone number on racetrac.com/rewards or within the app. On the website, log in and click “Account” in the top right corner. In the app, tap the settings button in the top right-hand corner of the page, then scroll to “Edit Profile.”

What if I forgot my username and password?

Visit the website racetrac.com/rewards and click the “Forgot Password’ link, or in the app hit “Forgot?” on the sign in page, then follow the instructions. If you still experience issues, please contact guest@racetrac.com for assistance.

What if I decide that I no longer want the subscription, or I move to a location without any RaceTrac stores?

We hate to see you go, but if you must, you can log in to the website and cancel your subscription. By doing so, it cancels the auto-renew payment. Your subscription will be valid through the last day before your subscription would auto-renew.

Does RaceTrac Rewards VIP work at the diesel truck lanes behind the store?

RaceTrac Rewards VIP is not accepted at the extended diesel canopy for long haul trucks at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

What if I don’t have a smart phone? Can I still sign up?

Yes. As well as using the RaceTrac app, you may also become a Rewards member by signing up on racetrac.com/rewards.

Can I use my subscription at RaceWay locations?

No, this program is only valid at RaceTrac locations.

How is my personal information kept secure?

RaceTrac abides by the highest information security, fuel and convenience industry standards and best practices to ensure all guest information is as secure and safe as possible.

Is there a physical card I can use instead?

Yes! Pick up a Rewards + Debit card at any RaceTrac location and link it to your RaceTrac Rewards account. You can earn points and receive your VIP discount every time you swipe your card at the pump or scan in-store!
